Hello! 👋

If you’re sat there thinking, “who is this guy and why is he emailing me?” then stay tuned, all your questions will be answered.

As a reminder, you’re getting this email because at some point in the last decade you’ve moseyed on over to AndrewLynch.net, read some of my writing and decided, perhaps on a whim, to sign up for my newsletter, Human Capital.

In fact, a bunch of you probably got an email with my last post, What Tucker Max taught me about hard work. If you didn’t, check it out. It’s a doozy.

Anyway, a couple of updates:

The old format of Human Capital was a weekly email I sent out with the best things I’d read, listened to or discovered that week. I’m not sending out emails like that any more.

If that’s a huge disappointment, feel free to unsubscribe below. No hard feelings!

Since then I’ve moved into a new place — literally, having bought a house, professionally, now being a senior leader in a small business, and personally, now that I’m married and have a dog.[

Obilgatory picture of the dog and, to a lesser extent, the house

So the focus of my writing is changing to reflect that. From now on, I’ll be writing essays on an intermittent schedule, broadly around these themes:

-

Buying, running, and scaling small companies

Becoming the most effective individual and leader you can be

Doing the above while staying, healthy, happy, and finding meaning in your work

If that’s your jam, great! You don’t need to do anything, and you’ll keep getting essays like that, right to your inbox. In the meantime, you might like some of these posts:
